Production Machine Operator – 2nd & 3rd Shifts

Fort Mill, SC

Job Summary:

  • Ink batch manufacturing
  • Ink batch weigh-ups
  • Operation of production equipment
  • Ability to follow batch instructions
  • Proper use and handling of weigh scales
  • Keeping plant production area orderly and clean (5S)
  • Quality control and inspection of equipment, raw materials, in-process and finished goods
  • Documentation control
  • Corrective and preventative action
  • Maintain traceability records on batch tickets

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must have a good eye for color
  • Forklift operator certification required [will train and certify]
  • Able to demonstrate proficiency in writing and mathematics
  • Ability to complete any required paperwork accurately and legibly
  • Basic computer skills; knowledge of MSOffice a benefit
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Physically able to perform the work required which includes repetitive lifting of up to 50lbs
  • A strong work ethic that demonstrates care for product quality and the service provided.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
  • Available to work overtime when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.50 per hour

Quality Control Lab Technician

Fort Mill, SC

Job Summary:

Take responsibility for quality of work and work in accordance with all Wikoff documented policies and procedures.
Insure quality of ink by comparing production against standards.
Real-time inspection of products processes and systems by performing a variety of test using documented procedures.
Achieve computer proficiency in batch ticket and quality software.
Communicate effectively with customers, other employees and departments.
Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly.
Operate required lab instruments and/or equipment.
Calibrate instruments.
Document all work on batch ticket and/or lab notebook
Train to test batches in all manufacturing labs

Job Requirements:

Minimum High school diploma or GED
Good math and statistical analysis skills
Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment
Must pass color test and have the ability to colormatch to an approved standard
Must have proven ability to work in a team environment
Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written
Must follow instructions and written procedures
Must be able to work with minimal supervision (in time)
Ability to multi-task and prioritize incoming work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour

Chemist – Ink Manufacturing

Fort Mill, SC

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for new product development and modification of existing products as needed to optimize performance, cost, regulatory compliance and material availability. Job duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Conceptualize, formulate, develop and introduce new products. Conduct evaluations and re-formulation of existing products and provide technical reports.
  • Work with production on process modifications and improvements.
  • Establish quality control specifications for new and modified products.
  • Work closely with customers including attending product trials and frequent review of any product performance issues.
  • Evaluation of new, innovative, and cost effective raw materials on an ongoing basis.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Chemistry or related field
  • 3 years of experience with a stable work history in the printing inks
  • Knowledge of Water-based Flexo Printing
  • Good eye for Color
  • Knowledge of Water-based ink formulations for non-absorbent substrates
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be a team player

Pay: Commensurate with Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 – $68,000.00 per year
